Matt Zanellato commits to Penn State

Penn State has received its sixth verbal commitment from the Class of 2011 when senior wide receiver Matt Zanellato of Lake Braddock (Va.) High School told coaches he will enroll next year.

Zanellato had 76 catches for 1,444 yards and 17 TD this fall. He is 6’3″ and weighs 190 lbs. He reportedly runs the 40 somewhere in the 4.5 range. He is the sixth verbal commitment for the class of 2011. And he comes at a position of need as the Nittany Lions lose Brett Brackett and Graham Zug to graduation this year, and Derek Moye is done after next year.

Here is an example of what Zanellato can do. In this game he had 11 receptions for 180 yards and 3 TDs
