Personally, I love the fact that the NFL is considering having a Superbowl in a colder climate, namely the New Jersey/New York area. I mean, who cares if it’s cold? Hardy football fans love the cold. Yes, they do. Cushy once a year fans love to sit indoors and watch football. Call me a traditionalist, but football indoors is wrong. Just plain wrong.
Besides, is New Jersey really that cold? Coming from the “up nort” area, I’d say no. Their average temperature? A high of 44 and a low of 25 in February. That is downright balmy, compared to say, Green Bay, Wisconsin, which boasts an average high of 29 and low of 12 in February. That’s football weather! Anything else is for wimps.
